The steel core leather gun belt is by far the most durable and tough belt you will ever find. Each one is handmade here in my small U.S. workshop on a per order basis, to your specifications. I recommend the steel core reinforcement for those that tend to carry full size sidearms and perhaps a mag or two or more. It’ll handle a fair amount of weight. We use a special type of spring steel that allows the belt to conform to your body without barely adding additional weight. There’s an option for a webbing core as well for those looking for more comfort while still helping to prevent stretch over time.<\/p>\n
All buckles are solid brass and you have the option of the exterior finish. The leather I use is the top tier in the industry, called full grain leather (densest fiber count), and I source it from the best and oldest tannery in the U.S. You will not find leather that is as durable as this, or that ages with a rich patina over time. Two solid brass chicago screws hold the buckle in place and allow you to swap it out if need be.<\/p>\n
All edges have been sanded, beveled, burnished and waxed. Each reinforced leather gun belt goes out the door with my own shop made leather conditioner, meant to keep it in great shape for years to come.<\/p>\n
