Built from the best U.S. Full Grain leather from the top U.S. Tannery (in business since the mid 1800’s), and solid brass hardware. The leather we use is extremely fiber-dense and worlds apart from any other belt you have ever owned. These lined belts are thick, yet very comfortable to wear and they develop a rich patina over time, just like a nice pair of leather shoes.<\/p>\n
On these lined belts I sand, slick, burnish and wax the edges for a more refined look. Buckles are held in place using solid brass chicago screws so you can remove or swap them at any point. If you are using this as a dress belt, just make sure your belt loops on the pants are big enough to accommodate the thickness and width of this belt. You may opt for the steel or webbing reinforcement if this belt will be used to regularly carry heavier items such as flashlights, knife sheaths,etc – although it is really only necessary when a lot of weight is carried daily.<\/p>\n
