Out in the West, there are great expansive desert mesas, this belt design was inspired by their rugged beauty. Created using three layers of my finest U.S. Full-Grain leather and solid brass buckles and hardware, you won’t find a belt this nice in any department store! I sand, slick, polish and wax the edges too for that finished touch. It measures about 1.75 inches in width – so make sure it’ll fit your pant loops, but know that it will also work well as a casual day belt. It makes for a comfy fit, and if you like to carry items on your belt – it is plenty strong for that too.<\/p>\n
I make this belt style on a per-order basis custom cut to your size and options, right here in my small U.S. workshop.<\/p>\n
All buckles are solid brass and you have the option of the exterior finish. The leather I use is the top tier in the industry, called full grain leather (densest fiber count), and I source it from the best and oldest tannery in the U.S. You will not find leather that is as durable as this, or that ages with a rich patina over time. Four solid brass Chicago screws hold the buckle in place and allow you to swap it out if need be.<\/p>\n
Each wide leather Western Ridge belt goes out the door with a tin of my own shop made leather conditioner, meant to keep it in great shape for years to come.<\/p>\n
