The pocket wallet with zip is unique in that I only use high grade full grain leather inside and out plus a high-end YKK zipper (other zip wallets use low grade ‘bonded’ leathers, plastic reinforcements and hidden tape to mask the inferior quality materials used). The interior includes two separate card sleeves and a central area to store cash or even more cards. This version easily holds 8 cards in the sleeves (4 each side) and a nice sized wad of cash in the center (or an additional 6 to 8 cards). It will certainly fit more if you let it break in.<\/p>\n
Built using YKK’s highest grade of zipper (Excella), and entirely made of the finest U.S. full grain leather and solid brass rivets. Handmade one by one in my small U.S. workshop.<\/p>\n

This is the uppermost layer of hide with the most compact and dense fiber structure of any style of leather. It is by far the strongest type of leather you can use, resistant to wear, abuse and stretch. Full grain leather far surpasses the longevity of lower grades common in store bought items like top grain, bonded, genuine and patent leathers.
