\nJust messing around this afternoon on some construction techniques. I used a very heavy duty industrial sewing machine and several rivets to put this piece together. The idea came from me carrying my water, coffee thermos, paperwork and other odds and ends in a small cardboard box to work every day.<\/p>\n

One day (today actually) I decided that a leatherworker shouldn’t have to carry his goods in a cardboard box. This bag is actually based on the dimensions of my favorite cardboard box.<\/p>\n

The challenge came in trying to keep this small leather bag looking manly enough for me to use every day. You know, less like a purse and more like a functional work bag. I think it’s just about good enough for me. I think this hints at a lot of new things to come for the shop<\/a>. Stay tuned!<\/p>\n
